How we use cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, improve user experience, and provide information to website owners. Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses. We also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session storage, which this policy refers to collectively as “cookies.”
The tools below run for every visitor, from the first page you open. The bar at the bottom of the page tells you about them; pressing “OK” only hides that bar — it does not switch anything on or off. See section 3 for how to opt out.
Why: keep you signed in and remember what you do on the site.
What it collects: your sign-in session; your compare list, recent searches, recently viewed listings and an unfinished listing draft (all stored only in your browser); whether you have seen the cookie notice.
Cookies / storage: Supabase sign-in cookies (sb-…-auth-token); n360_notice (180 days); browser storage: nilay360_compare, nilay360_compare_items, n3_recent_searches, nilay360_recently_viewed, nilay360_post_draft.
Why: see which pages and adverts bring enquiries, and count each listing view once.
What it collects: the page you landed on, the referring website, campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and ad click ids (Google’s gclid, Meta’s fbclid) in that link; a random id for your visit; a random anonymous id for counting views. These are stored with an enquiry when you send one.
Cookies / storage: n360_attr (30 days); n360_sid (until you close the browser); n360_reg (10 minutes, only right after you create an account); browser storage: nilay360_anon_visitor_id.
Why: measure our Facebook and Instagram adverts and help Meta show them to people likely to be interested.
What it collects: pages you view, listings you open (their Property ID and price), searches on our homepage, taps on call / WhatsApp buttons, enquiries and sign-ups, together with your IP address, browser and Meta’s cookie ids. Its automatic features are switched off, so it does not read the forms on our pages.
Cookies / storage: _fbp and _fbc (set by Meta, up to 90 days).
Why: report the same events to Meta from our server, so each is counted once even if the Pixel is blocked.
What it collects: when you send an enquiry or create an account: the email address and phone number you entered in that form or on your own account, converted into an irreversible code (SHA-256 hash) before it leaves our servers, and a coded version of your account id if you are signed in; when you tap a call / WhatsApp button: just that event. Each event also carries your IP address, browser type, the page address, Meta’s cookie ids and the ad click id if you came from a Meta advert. We never send anyone else’s details, such as a property owner’s contact information.
Cookies / storage: none of its own (it uses the ids above).
Why: measure enquiries that come from our Google adverts.
What it collects: that an enquiry happened and its type, with Google’s advertising ids and the ad click id if you came from a Google advert.
Cookies / storage: _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (set by Google, up to 90 days).
Why: understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
What it collects: pages you view, how you arrived, approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser.
Cookies / storage: _ga and _ga_… (set by Google, up to 2 years).
Why: see which features are used and find problems, so we can fix and improve the site.
What it collects: pages, clicks and actions on the site, device and browser. About 1 in 20 visits is recorded as a session replay of what was on screen; text typed into form fields is hidden in those recordings. PostHog data is not linked to your name or account.
Cookies / storage: ph_…_posthog (cookie and browser storage, up to 1 year).
Why: find and fix technical errors.
What it collects: technical details when something breaks: the page, browser, and the error itself.
Cookies / storage: none.
